My Science Philosophy of teaching involves using Constructivism within the classroom and teaching students through guided discovery. In this picture, students are exploring the different properties of objects through a microscope. I believe students need hands on learning experiences and need to make connections from newly learned concepts to previously learned concepts, and across curriculum. I plan on incorporating these theories and ideas in my future classroom. I believe in asking convergent and divergent questions and giving students the opportunity to discover the answers to these questions, as well as others. In my classroom, I will be teaching the students current Scientifc concepts as required by the state and supported programs.
